SuttonBeresCuller is a trio of artists Ben Beres, Zac Culler and John Sutton who are based in the Seattle, Washington, area. They create installations, mobile projects and put on public performances, and have received numerous grants and awards since their first collaboration “Drive-Through Gallery” in 1999.
In 2008, SuttonBeresCuller received a Creative Capital Foundation grant for their upcoming project “Mini-Mart City Park”, a 1930’s-era gas station that will be repurposed into a public green space and conservatory.
The artists are currently seeking volunteers/interns to help with:
•Fundraising and soliciting donations for goods and services associated with the project, e.g., solar panels, plants, green roof materials, etc.
•Public relations and media outreach
•Marketing, including creation of a long-term business plan.
•Web development
This is an excellent opportunity for business, marketing and/or communications majors with an interest in contemporary art and culture.
