SuttonBeresCuller is a trio of artists – Ben Beres, Zac Culler and John Sutton – who are based in the Seattle, Washington, area. They create installations, mobile projects and put on public performances, and have received numerous grants and awards since their first collaboration “Drive-Through Gallery” in 1999.
In 2008, SuttonBeresCuller received a Creative Capital Foundation grant for their upcoming project “Mini-Mart City Park”, a 1930’s-era gas station that will be repurposed into a public green space and conservatory. The artists are currently seeking volunteers/interns to help with: •Fundraising and soliciting donations for goods and services associated with the project, e.g., solar panels, plants, green roof materials, etc. •Public relations and media outreach •Marketing, including creation of a long-term business plan. •Web development This is an excellent opportunity for business, marketing and/or communications majors with an interest in contemporary art and culture.
