In partnership with the Duwamish River Community Coalition, we host semi-annual 11-week-long sessions with participating youth from the Duwamish Valley Youth Corps (DVYC). Led by MMCP’s Education Manager, this program centers around environmental stewardship, with youth learning about our site’s Green Stormwater Infrastructure, soil remediation technology, and native plant identification through hands-on activities and various art-making forms. Meals, stipends, supplies, and mentorship are provided.
