Murals

The mural wall is an excellent opportunity for exhibiting artists to change scale within their practice and activate the courtyard in a way that feels complementary to the works on view in the gallery. While this prompt provokes some thoughtful and expansive work from our rotating artists, it has also shown itself to be a great opportunity to host a muralist to transform this temporary canvas into something thematically tied to either MMCP and/or the current work on view.

The mural wall has prompted activations such as Colleen RJC Bratton's bee watering holes, Sanoe Stevenson Egeland's cheerful and celebratory birthday mural, and a night with projected video works by Maryam Debohozorgi.

Details for mural applications will be announced soon.
